‘Sup folks!
I want to tell you about something I picked up on about 15 years ago when I started my journey as an entrepreneur. This is most fitting for start-ups or entrepreneurs beginning your journey to success:
I like to call it progressive technology.
What I realized was that, most of the companies who didn’t accept the internet either faded away or were sold. And even years later, the ones who thought a mobile society was impossible are hanging on by a string, if not the same results as the former.
Brick and mortar? You see what’s happening.
Progressive technology is not that expensive. (lots of free services to start off with) Now, don’t get me wrong. If you make money and grow, you will have to spend. And it can get costly. You need to grow at scale or its doom. Like the majority of beginners.
So, I’ll make this short and sweet.
Today, in my opinion, it would be wise to invest in your own web property or mobile app. Because we all know that with time, things change. And this time, with Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the change is drastic. And some parts of this change has already taken place right under our noses.
I’ll never forget when I accepted this idea. 2 things happened:
- One of the biggest marketing gurus told ME personally, “It’s all about ownership.”
- I actually had the luxury of being around some of the cool nerds who help usher in what most of us rely on today: Progressive technology
It has helped my business management, self-progress and has allowed me to see some of the patterns that will lead us to a better environment, if we collaborate effectively. If we can stand together on common ground for the betterment of humanity.
I’m certainly down for it.
